Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally that are in the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with these films. After getting some attention in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review films in the latter half of 2009. She continued to be a part of the site up until January 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! She's also appeared on Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing awful children's film or RiffTrax Live Shows aswell in occasional adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017.). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and began to gain a following on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the group of film critics. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
