Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in Australia she is a performer. Cornish was best-known as a character in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). The latter movie Cornish got the first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin was able to make the choice to be an actor due to the affection and support that she had from both of her parents. Fordham College was her first option when she was ready to attend college. The college was where she learned to master her craft. Gilpin was a stage actress before moving to Broadway where she was auditioning for film and TV roles. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed that up with small roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest roles over the next few years until she landed her first break in 2013 with the role of a regular in the show Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, as Carrie Roman Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, made an appearance in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie prior to the series was cancelled on June 15th, 2015. In the same year Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
